I have 8 years of experience in the hospitality industry working with stakeholders from small companies to global corporations. I worked collaboratively between multiple departments as an onsite third party vendor. I worked in project management for the Audio-Visual portion of large scale events. I have 5 years of experience working with educational leadership and faculty in higher education.
I have always been enthusiastic about using technology to convey a message. I have spent the past decade working with digital media and audio-visual technology to assist clients in utilizing technology to tell their story. My early career was focused in the hospitality industry working for large scale events. I worked collaboratively with various department and client stakeholders in a project management capacity. During this time I gained significant experience simplifying complex ideas into easily digestible concepts.
While working as a Multimedia Specialist for the University of Central Florida, I developed an interest in integrating technology in education. I assisted with the shift to online learning at the University in 2020. I trained faculty and administration on teaching and working in an online environment, specifically Zoom. The experience of assisting faculty encouraged me to pursue my Master’s in Instructional Design.
My experience working with various stakeholders from a variety of industries has uniquely prepared me to understand the most effective way to communicate a message to a diverse group of learners.
